GOC / CGA President Ben Nunoo Mensah motivated the Black Bombers as they reached the medal zone.

He was always ever present at the ring side whenever Ghana is engaged in an international bout. He really encouraged them with words and promise if they win the ultimate.

He led the cheering squad after Joseph Commey and Abdul Wahid Onar won to qualify to the medal zone at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

He said boxing is Ghana’s strength and next time all the boxing slots should be filled and more local female boxers  should be allowed if they can box to win medals.
